Allergy is disorder of immune system which is also referred to as atopy.Allergic reaction mostly occur when person's immune system react with harmless environmental substance known as allergen.Example of allergic reactions include eczema,hay fever, redness,swelling,itching,food allergies,asthma,anaphylactic shock. Treatment for allergy include steroids and most commonly used medications are antihistamines and decongestants,glucocorticoids, anticholinergic drugs.These drugs reduce the symptoms of allergy. Immunotherapy can also b used to treat allergic patients.
